FORCED LANDING
MOTH AEROPLANE DAMAGED TWO OCCUPANTS UNINJURED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DANNEVIRKE, Monday A Moth aeroplane belonging to the Hawke's Bay and East Coast Aero Club, piloted by Mr. A. Mollier, who had as a passenger Mr. G. Evans, made a forced landing near the Dannevirke aerodrome on Saturday morning, alighting in a turnip paddock. The aeroplane was going north at the time, having come from Rongotai. Visibility was poor owing to the misty rain, and the pilot decided to stay at Dannevirke. He failed to locate the aerodrome, and the machine on landing struck a strainer post Snd carried soma of a fence awav.
The lower wings of the' machine were considerably damaged, and together with other minor damage, it may cost £2OO to repair it. The occupants wera not injured.
