GAOL FOR SHOPLIFTING
[by telegraph— own. correspondent] RAW.ENE, Monday Before justices of the peace here today. three Maoris, Tamo Otene, Colin Tahere and Tamanui Paul, all relief workers, of Maugainuka, were convicted for shoplifting. Thev were sentenced to imprisonment for three mouths, one month and 14 days respectively.
