INTER-CLUB EVENT DRAW FOR FIRST ROUND PERSONNEL OF THE TEAMS The first round of the Auckland inter-club golf competitions will be played during the week-end. FOURSOME AT PAEROA OFFICERS OF LADIES' CLUB [by telegraph—own correspondent] PAEROA, Monday Beautiful weather prevailed on Saturday afternoon for the opening of the Paeroa Golf Club's season. There was a good attendance of members, friends and visiting players. The president, Mr. H. Thorp, in declaring the season officially open, wished the players a successful playing year. The programme for the afternoon was a mixed foursome over 12 holes. The best cards returned were:—Miss A. Argall and W. Kidd, and Mrs. W. Fathers and M. I. Scott, both 44 net. The following officers of the Paeroa Ladies' Golf Club have been elected for the 1037 season :-r—President. Mrs. E. W. Porritt; captain, Miss, G. Gibb; secretary, Mrs. E. L.
