POLICE COURT NEWS
REMANDS GRANTED Charged with being m possession of prepared opium on April 3, Chong On, a Chinese fruiterer, aged 31, appeared before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in tho Police Court yesterday, and was remanded until Monday. Bail of £IOO was renewed. A ship's greaser, Christopher MeBrien, aged 23, charged with the theft of a radio set, clothing, and a pipe, of a total value of £33 13s Gd, was remanded to appear on April 18. John Colston, labourer, aged 27, who appeared on a charge of converting to his own use a motor-car, valued at £2OO, the property of Stanley Craig Harris, was remanded until Monday.
