FINAL MATCH OF SEASON NORTH SHORE AND THE REST The concluding match of the Auckland Cricket Association's season will be played between North Shore, champion senior team for the last two years, and an eleven representing the Rest of Auckland. The selectors have chosen the following side to represent the Rest : A. J. Postles, captain, J. E. Mills (Eden), A. M. Matheson (University), P. E. Whitelaw, A. W. McCoy, F. Goodsir (Parnell), G. Hook, V. Scott (Y.M.C.A.), G. Wallace, X. Ellis (Grafton), P. Scholium (Ponsonby). WIN FOR MANUKAU A match between a team representing the Manukau Cricket Association and a team representing the Rodney Cricket Association, played at Leigh on Saturday, resulted in a win for Manukau by 4!> runs. Scores: —Manukau: First innings, 252 (Forsman 107). Rodney: First innings. 203 (S. Torkinpton 51, C. Ashton 43, E. Wyatt 37). Bowling: Forsman took five wickets for 00 runs. THIRD GRADE FINAL The section final of the Auckland Cricket Association's third grade championship, between North Shore and Papatoetoe, played on Saturday, was won by North Shore. Scores: —- North Shore. —-First innings, 121 (Johnston 53) Bowling: Bray took four wickets for 32 runs. Papatoetoe: First innings, four wickets for 93 runs (McSweeney 27). HAMILTON COMPETITION [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday In the Hamilton Cricket Association's senior B grade competition at Seddon Park yesterday, Frankton United won the final by defeating Hamilton on the first, innings. Hamilton nude 96 (Taylor 37 not out). Frankton United replied with JOO (K. Davey 50).
