In declaring the course open for play, the president, Mr. E. I>. McLennan, referred to the splendid condition of the links. Miss B. Goddard and Fearnley won a mixed foursomes event with a score of 61, 11—50. The next best cards returned were:— Mrs. A. L. Cooper and K. Matheson, 71, 15—5'1; Miss E. C. Foote and C. V. Garnett, 72, 11—58; Miss Graham and Moore, 73, 15—58.
