MR. C. S. RENNELL [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION]" NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday The death occurred suddenly last night of Mr. Clarence Sydney Eennell, secretary of the New Plymouth Harbour Board for the. past 30 years. He succeeded his father, who was the first secretary of the hoard. Ho was well known in bowling circles. MR. J. P. BLACKWOOD [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Saturday The death occurred at his residence, Milton Street, Leamington, yesterday, of Mr, John Park Blackwood, a wcllknown farmer of the Pukekura district, aged 80 years. The late Mr. Blackwood was born at Greenock, Scotland, and came to New Zealand 50 years ago. After a few years at Port Chalmers he came to Cambridge and took up land at Pukekura. He married Miss Florence Annie Hicks, eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hicks. He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter.
