GAS TAKEN WITHOUT LEAVE
SUPERINTENDENT'S EVIDENCE
(Received March 23, 8.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. March 22
The superintendent of the Overton High School, which was wrecked in the explosion on Thursday, Mr. W. C. Shaw, testified before the Board of Inquiry to-day that gas was taken without permission from the pipe-lines of a private company. Previously, the cost of heating the school was 150 dollars to 200 dollars a month.
