WAIKATO SHOW
INCREASED DAIRY ENTRIES STAND SPACE FULLY BOOKED [from OUR OWN" correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday All stand space is fully booked and new figures have been established in the dairy division of the Waikato Winter Show, which is to be held at Hamilton during Coronation week. This information was conveyed to the executive committee of the association by the secretary, Mr. \V. H. Foul, to-day. Mr. Paul said that there had been a strong inquiry for stand accommodation, and the full space was let. In the dairy sections 1277 entries had now been received, which was 52 ahead of last year's total and 162 in advance of the number received on the corresponding day in 1036. There was a possibility of the Railway Department running special trains to the show for southern and Taranaki farmers. Mr. Paul added that keen interest, was evinced in the international photographic salon, and he had been advised that ;iOO exhibits were being entered bv enthusiasts outside New Zealand. Tin; follow ing judges were appointed.:—Agriculture, Mr. J. Reynolds (Pukekohc); swedes and turnips, Mr. A. L. Pegler ( Raglan); jmangels, Mr. Robinson (Cambridge); ' ensilage, Mr. ,T. Shepherd (Hamilton); horticulture, Mr. E. Allan (Bucklands); fruit, Mr. R. G. Hamilton (Hamilton); honey, Mr. T. S. Winter (Hamilton); needlework, Mrs C. Bregman (Waiuku); home industries, Mr. F. Findlay (Hamilton); pickles and preserves, Mr. G. Heald (Auckland); photography. Mr. H. K. Gaze (Hamilton); Sunday school work, Pastor J. Salisbury (Hamilton); model aeroplanes, Mr. F. C. Mac Donald (Auckland); model engineering, Mr. F. Abraham (Hamilton): poultry, Messrs. J. -Nixon and G. Ambler (Auckland). Several further appointment* liuve yet to be made.
