MATUA AT SUVA The Union Company's motor-ship Matua arrived at Suva from Auckland and island ports yesterday. She is due at Auckland pn Monday and will go from here to Wellington. . , "RECORDER TO SAIL The Recorder will sail for- the Tasman Sea at 11 o'clock this morning. She is to make two repairs to the Sydney-Auckland cable. AWATEA FOR SYDNEY Due from Wellington at 8.10 this morning, the Union Company's intercolonial express steamer Awatea will berth at Prince's Wharf. She will sail for Sydney at five o'clock this evening. AUGSBURG SAILED Completing her general cargo for New York last evening, the German steamer Augsburg, which was at King's Wharf, sailed at 5.50 last night for Xew York. BOSWORTH TO SAIL The steamer Bosworth, which is discharging slag from Immingham, England, at Central Wharf, is tcsail for New Plymouth to-morrow. KARAFUTO MARU With, a cargo of sulphur for discharge at Auckland. Lyttelton and Castlecliff, the Japanese steamer Karafuto Maru is due here at the end of this month. She will call at island ports and is due at Vancouver on April 9. WIXGATUI'S MOVEMENTS The Union Company's steamer Wingatui is to leave Dunedin on Tuesday for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Auckland. She will not call at Wellington and cargo from that port for Auckland will be carried by the Matua. which is to sail from Wellington on April 3. THE PORT TAURANGA Berthed at King's Wharf the new Watchlin line motor-ship Port Tauranga attracted considerable attention yesterday. With her exceptionally long forward hatch for the stowage of logs, her large derricks and modern design she was the subject of much favourable comment. She will probably sail to-morrow for Australia.
