LASSETTER'S LOST REEF
BELIEVEb TO BE A MYTH After a thorough examination of the Central Australian area believed to contain Lassetter's f —a reef which has popularly been supposed to hold untold (juantities of gold—the geologist of the Cutlack Aerial Kxpedition, J)r. Guy Harris, is of opinion that the reef is a myth. An extensive range of country was recently examined in the area in which the reef was supposed to be located, but the ground \vas not metalliferous. '
