ODDFELLOWS' DANCE

A COLOURFUL SCENE MANCHESTER UNITY CEREMONY The gold and red insignia of lodge members combined with the colourful frocks of the ladies to make a gay scene at the Manchester Unity Hall last night, where the Oddfellows held a dance and social, following the installation of the Grand Master of the Auckland District. The wives of officers and other visitors who were present included: — Mrs, T. M. Hetet, Te Kuiti (wife of tho District Grand Master), who was in a tunic frock of black .georgette flowered in green and pink, over a black satin skirt; Mrs. J. Mackay (wife of the deputy District .Grand Master), black Chantilly lace; Mrs. S. D. Eade (wife of the immediate past District Grand Master), black taffetas faced with white satin, and a black %-elvet tunic coat; Mrs. W. McMillan (wife of the Grand Master of the New Zealand branch), black georgette; Mrs. John McLcoa (wife of the district secretary), black angelskin lace; Mrs. J. E. Allan, blush pink taffetas; Mrs. E. K. Stanley, black georgette trimmed with crystal; Mrs. J. Gray, Burgundy Chantilly lace; Mrs. F. N. Bushell, wine lace and georgette; Mrs. T. W. Thompson, black ring velvet; Mrs. F. Howard, floral flat crepe; Mrs. L. Gamman, blue and green floral crepe de chine; Mrs. M. lon, black ring velvet and silver lame; Mrs. C. H. Ambridge, black and white georgette; Mrs. I°.
