HOLY TRINITY CHURCH

AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW Many beautiful flowers were displayed at the autumn flower show, which was held yestorday in connection with Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, in the parish hall. The show was officially opened by the vicar, the Rev. B. R. Brierley, and the exhibits were judged by Mr. George Mills. The champion bloom of tho show was a dahlia exhibited by Mrs. H. C. Bennett. Songs were rendered by Miss Bertha Haywood, who played her own accompaniments. A ''bring and buy" stall was in the charge of Mrs. George Carter, Mrs. M. Wylie and Mrs. Salm. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. C. Hamlin, Mrs. R. Godley, Mrs. R. J. Dunning, Miss I. Weight and Miss K. Pitts.
