AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP (Received • March 7, 5.5 p.m.) 1 LOS ANGELES, March 6 The noted film actress Miss Marlene Dietrich appeared unexpectedly to-day in the Federal Court and signed the first papers to become an American citizen and took th 3 oath of allegiance. She will be eligible for citizenship in two years. Miss Dietrich gave her legal name, as Maria Magdalene Sieber and stated that she was born on January 27, 1904, at Berlin.
