SOCIAL EVENING
An enjoyable entertainment, arranged by Mr. and Mrs. L. Harvey, of Henderson, in conjunction with Mrs. Noblo and Mrs. Wright, was presented nfc the liiontidy social of the Devon and Cornwall Club last week. Songs were given by Messrs. Spooner and Plimmer and humorous 'sketches, yodelling and instrumental items were also enjoyed. Supper was served and the evening concluded with dancing. Among those present were:—Mesdames L. Harvey, May, Nohle, Scanlen, Brickell, McEvoy, Golding, Hanham, Nunn, Jackson, H. R. Reynolds, A. Jordan, Thangland, McGregor, W. Duthie, Godher Goodare, E. Freeth, Rutherford, M. Ballard, Hutchings, sen., Hutchings, jun , Buttimore, E. Mumford. A. S. Holt, Spooner, Hodder, Rogers, Manly, Misses Spooner, F. Brooks Littlejohn. A. M. Coad, Iris Smith, Jackson, McGrath, Buttimore, M. Reader, Thangland and Nuna.
