PIRATE SHIP

An attractive setting representing a ;6cene from "Patience" (Gilbert and Sullivan), brightened the Pirate Ship on Saturday night, when an old-time carnival da life was held. The stage Petting, which was arranged by Mr. E. Armitage, depicted Bunthorn Castle with its sweeping drive and glowing flower gardens. Cut-out sunflowers adorned the cubicles and pillars. Balloons and streamers floated down from the hatchway of the upper deck and Were caught by the large number of dancers on the deck below. Popular old-time dance numbers were played by the Pirate Ship Orchestra.
