VOTE ON DIVISION SCHEME PROTEST FROM WHANGAREi . V [FROM OUK OWN CORRESPONDENT WHAXGA'REI. Fridaj A protest agaihst the short notica given by the Auckland Education Board when taking a vote en tie division of the board's district into three parts with centres at Whangarej, Auckland and Hamilton, was unanimously registered by the Whangarei School committee. The secretary was instructed to forward a copy of the protest to the Minister of Education, the Hod. P. Eraser. The committee received a letter from each of two other northern committees offering to co-operate with the Vha* ngarei committee in whatever further action it decided to take.
