G. J COLES, LIMITED INTERIM DIVIDEND LOWER PAYMENT OF 9D A SHARE The directors of G. J. Coles, Limited, Melbourne, retailers, have announced a dividend of 9d a share, or 3J per cent, for the quarterly period ended March 31. It is payablo on April 15. This compares with a payment of 2i per cent in the same quarter last year. This distribution has come as a surprise to the market, as the rato was raised from 2i jjer cent in the final quarter last year to 5 per cent in the first quarter of the current financial year.
