Lawn Fertilising
Where nothing in the way 'of nourishment has yet been applied to lawns, something should be given. There are many well-balanced lawn fertilisers on tho'market, but the great thing is to be moderate in regard to single applications. It is better to use small quantities in two dressings a month apart, than to put all on in the one operation. The continual use of sulphate of ammonia during the summer is no more than a tonic, and what is required at this season of the year is something more lasting iu the way of nourishment.
