Queen Mary chose three cape bedjackets, one of velvet in blue and pink and tvo in lace and georgette. , Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Kent both chose peach-pink dressing gowns of satin. As the Duchess of Kent feels the cold very much in London she is having hers lined with peach-pink Angora wool. She also ordered four extra quilted blankets in pale pink and pale blue. The Queen ordered extra sheets in pale pink and blue linen edged with satin, and ordered for the Princesses two embroidery outfits, specially designed for children, with paintings of animals.
