TWO HORSES SHOT
POLICE COURT SEQUEL [BY TELKCRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAUPO, Friday Two charges were preferred in the Taupo Police Court to-day against Arthur Ernest Tillev, of Wellington, of eomniitting mischief by shooting a stallion and mare, owned by George Thomas Chalklen, of Rangataiki. The former animal was stated to be valued at £<«> and the mare at £lO. Compensation to the owner wns Bottled out of Court. Ou both charges Tilley was convicted and ordered to pay witness' expenses, amounting to £2 10s.
