MARINE STRIKE
PARTIAL TERMINATION EAST COAST PORTS (Received January 15, 10.55 p.m.) NEW YORK, Jan. 14 The Masters, Mates and Pilots of America and the National Marine Engineers Beneficial Association have abandoned the strike at east coast ports. This action followed a conference.
Officials have issued an explanation saying that the activities of parties not connected with the organisation had placed them in a bad light and they felt that it would be best for all concerned to stop the strike.
