CONDITION OF POPE
A FAIRLY GOOD NIGHT INTERVAL IN WHEEL-CHAIR ROME. Jan. J4 The Pope spent a fairly good night and his condition is unchanged this morning. However, those in close touch with him do not conceal their fears that the improvement will not continue. They point out that the sleep ho lias obtained recently has been largely due to sedatives.
His Holiness to-day was placed in a wheel-chair and was able to go to his salon to receive callers.
