AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS A decision to hold the senior swimming: championships of Auckland at the Tepid Baths on January '2(S, as arranged, was made by the management committee of the Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association at its weekly As the centre had previously passed a rule prohibiting children of 17 years of age or under from competing in races until the position respecting the outbreak of infantile paralysis had sufficiently improved, intermediates qualified to take part in senior championships were granted special permission to swim in these contests.
