DOWLt'NG.—On January 15, at Auckland, George Henry, dearly loved husband of May, 3 Ranene Street, St. Heliers. late of To Aroha. and eldest son of Henry and the late Jtilia Dowling.—R.l-P. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 7am to-dav (Saturday) at St. John's Church, Parnell; the funeral leaves chnrch at 2 p.m. for Hillsborough. ELLIOTT. —On January 15, 1037 (suddenly), at his late residence, 50 McKelvie Street, Grey Lynn, Leonard, dearly-loved husband of Ellen, and father of Neta; aged 50 years.

MORTON.—On January 14, at her residence, 15 Emmett Street, Heme Bay, Margaret Lillie Morton, in her 91st year. Funeral will leave for Purewa at 10.30 a.m. to-day (Saturday). SHANLEY.—On January 35, at Hamilton Hospital, William (lato 16th Reinforcements), beloved husband of Florence Shanley; aged 44 years. Funeral Te Aroha, 3 p.m., Saturday. SHRUBSOi,E.—On January 15, at the Auckland Infirmary, Winnifred Shrnbsole, sister of Cyril Shrubsole, of West Ealing, London.

SILCOCK.—On January 15 /suddenly), at her late. residence. Grecndale, Paeroa, Mary, beldved wife of the late James S'ilcock, and loving mother of Kate, Anne and James; aged 62. Funeral will leave ahove address for St. Paul's Church, for short service, at 3.30 today (Saturday), thence to Paeroa Cemetery. SMARDON.—On January 15, at the Waikato Hospital, Ernest, beloved husband of Mabel and loving father of Dorothy, Allen, Fred, Hinemoa and Kenneth; in his 03rd year.—His end was peace. The funeral will leave the Te Aroha Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. to-morrow (Sunday). for the Te Aroha Cemetery. SUTHERLAND,—On January 15, 1937. at a private hospital, Eliza, dearly-beloved wife of Kenneth William Sutherland, of 2 Arthur Street, Onehunga; aged 73 years.
