MAN OF GOOD FAMILY STAFF HELD UP WITH GUN A young man of aristocratic family, who has been in turn a student of agricultural science, a dancer in Montmartre, a Trappist monk, and finally an inspector for an insurance company, was convicted in Paris recently on a charge of bank robbery.

He is Adolpho Paris do Watripont, aged 04, who, according to tho prosecution, drove up to a branch bank at \ crneuil-sur-Avre ill a motor-car borrowed from a relative, walked inside, held up the stall with :i big revolver lent to him by a friend, and escaped with 150,000 francs. His wife soon divorced him, (hough a child, now eight years old, was born of the marriage. Sentence of live years' imprisonment, without benefit of the First Offenders Act, was passed on Watripont.
