Charged with Sunday trading, Richard Browning Herman, who pleaded not guilty and was said to have had two previous similar convictions against him, was fined £o and costs, 10s. A hotel licensee, Hugh Lynn (Mr. Wright), pleaded guilty to a charge of exposing liquor for sale after hours, and was fined £5 and costs, 10s. Fines of £1 and costs, JOs were imposed on John Edwards, Robert Galbraith and Frederick Arns, on charges of beitv found on licensed premises after hours, and on a similar charge George Henry Hamlin was ordered to pav 10s costs. Arns was further nneu £1 and costs, 10s, for giving a false name and address to the police.
