RELIGIOUS ORDEAL
INDIAN BURIED ALIVE SURVIVES DAY IN GROUND BOMBAY. Jan. 13 After having been buried alive for 24 hours, Sadhu, a religious mendicant, was dug up at Indore to-day in the presence of a crowd of onlookers. The man was found sitting like a statue in the same position as when lie was buried. Ho gradually regained consciousness in the presence of doctors, who found that his heart-beats were controlled until he became normal.
