Burn, of Auckland, has left on a motor tour of Botorua and the Bay of Plenty. Mrs. J. Bryan, of Napier, and Mrs. K. L. Hiskcns, of Te Awamutu, are at the Royal Hotel. Mrs. A. Chain, of Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs. H. C. Couch, Sunglcn Road, Mount Eden. Mrs. H. E. Snell (Suva), Mrs. A. G. Bruce and Miss 1). A. Bruce (London) are at Hotel Cargen. Mrs. T. F. Upfill, Lichfield Street, Parnell, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. 1. S. Cantrell, in Dunedin. Miss Daphne Henderson, of Auckland, is visiting Gisborne, where she is the guest of Mrs. E. L. Walton. Mrs. Oliver Bevir, Martin Avenue, Bemuera, will leave Auckland to-day by the Akaroa, on her return to England. Mrs, Leslie Bainger, of Bassett Boad, Bemuera, will sail by the Akaroa this evening oil a six months' visit to England. Mrs. E. V. Sutherland, of Ngaroma Boad, Epsom, has left by motor-car on a holiday visit to Wellington and the Chateau. Visitors at the Grand Hotel are Mrs. G. Best (England), Mrs. J. Krause (Chicago), and Miss James (Melbourne). Mrs. J. McPherson, of Christchurch, who has been visiting Mrs. Gilbert Archey, Laurie Avenue, Parnell, has left for Botorua and Tauranga. Lady Bankart, of O'Borke Street, who has been visiting England and the Continent, will return to New Zealand by the Bemuera, duo in Wellington on January 18. Miss Jane Mander, of Keith Avenue, Bemuera, accompanied by Miss A. Mander, Mrs. Crawford, Mrs. J. Cross, of Whan Valley, and Mrs. B. Campbell, of Norfolk Island, will leave on Monday on a visit to Onerahi, Whangarei Harbour. Mrs. E. J. Miller (Auckland) is leaving London by the Corfu for India, China and Japan on her way back to New Zealand after a holiday in Europe. She has lately been staying with relatives in the North of Scotland, wrote our London coricspondcnt on December 19. Mrs. S. E. Cooper (Palmerston North), Mrs. M. B. Bennett, Mrs. F. F. Parker and Mrs. K. Parker (Wellington). Mrs. J. Auld (Tauranga), Mrs. F. B. Gardner (Napier), Mrs. J. M. Beaufort (Cambridge), Miss Pool (Wellington), and Miss M. Wilson (Gisborne), are at the Station Hotel.
