MAORI LABOURER GUILTY COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE [by TELEGRAPH —OWN" correspondent] KAIKOHE, Wednesday " I always think of stealing when under the influence of liquor." said Hamiora Wihongi, a Maori labo'irer, in a. statement to the police in the Kaikohe Police Court to-day, when he was charged with breaking and entering the Kaikohe railway station goods shed on December 22, and stealing a bag of Clothing and a parcel, valued at £7 10s. • Evidence was given by the stationinaster, Lindsay Andrew Cooke. - Constable McNutt said that the parcel was found on an embankment, while i the bag of clothing was found at accused's house. 1 T Accused pleaded guilty and was cominitted to the Supreme Court for sentence.
