DESTRUCTION OF SHAGS
i'ropress in the destruction of sliaps in South Canterbury has been slowed down over the holiday period, hut a further shappery has been located in the Hanpitata river porpe. The shappery is not easily accessible, and the destroyinp party will have to cross the river to reach it. The river is at present in Hood, but it is hoped to demolish the shappery as soon as a crossinp can be made.
