J. DAVIS WINS GOLD CUP (Received December 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. *_>o .T. Davis won the Daily Mail's gold cup for a snooker tournament, beating W. Lindrum in the final heat. Davis won all five games played, Lindrmn won three and lost two, T. Newman won three and lost two, W. Smith won two and lost three, S. Smith won two and lost three, and Inman lost all five.
