EMERGENCY FREIGHT RATES DISCONTINUANCE ORDERED WASHINGTON, Dec. 20 The United States inter-State commerce commission has denied permission to the railways to continue after January 31 their emergency surcharge freight rates, which were adopted in March, 1935, and from which the railwavs received a revenue of 10.000,000 dollars a month.
