TWO LARGE PROPERTIES Two well-known large residential properties in Auckland have recently changed hands. One is " Glade Hall," Gillies Avenue, the home of the late Mr. H. E. Vaile, situated on the bushcovered north-eastern slope of Mount Eden. The other is " The Pines," Owen's Road, a fine property of 6J acres, owned by Mrs. George Bloomfiekl and lately occupied by Mr. Walter F. Boyle, United States Consul in Auckland. The sales were made through the agency of Messrs. Samuel Vaile and Sona and Nevillo Newcomb, respectively. The names of the purchasers have not been made public.
