DAVENTRY IMPROVEMENTS THREE NEW TRANSMITTERS LONDON, Nov. 16 Tho British Broadcasting Corporation is pushing on w.ith its plan for doubling the transmitting strength of Dttventry. Threo new transmitters, to bo added to the existing three, will, it is hoped, be ready early in 1937. Tho area of Daventry station will bo increased from 40 to 130 acres, the whole of which will be devoted to Empire and world broadcasts. These will compete favourably with foreign broadcasts now received in the Dominions..
