CLOSING AT REMUERA VERY LARGE MEMBERSHIP WINNERS OF COMPETITIONS Some 160 players took part in a Canadian mixed foursomes medal competition, which marked the closing of the official playing season of tho Keinucrn Golf Club. ORAKEI CLUB The finals of three competitions were played during the week-end by members of the Orakei Golf Club. In the President's Cup T. Grcep (12) beat W. 11. Chappell (0), 2 and 1. In the Cumfosa Cup J. Chadwick (10) beat F Gray (-0), - up, and in the captain s prize J.' Chadwick (10) beat W. H. Chappell <0), -1 and 3. „ . Goldwater's trophy for the four best bogey scores returned throughout tho season resulted in a tie between Mrs. 11. Bowden and Mrs. W. Houghton.
