ARREST OF ARTIST
MEXICAN MURAL PAINTER WORK IN HOTEL RETOUCHED (Received November 22, 7.5 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, Nov. 21 A noted Mexican artist, Diego Rivera, whose murals in the Rockefeller Centre, New York, had been ordered to be destroyed by Mr. Rockefeller, Junior, because of their offensive character, was arrested in Mexico City to-day for a similar cause. Finding that his murals in the new Hotel Reforma had been retouched without his knowledge, ho entered the building with 20 friends to protest. The police allege that Rivera had five pistols in his possession.
