CRIPPLED CHILDREN'S FUND In Gpito of unfavourable weather there was a good attendance of enthusiastic dancers at a hall organised by the members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Foreo Social Club, in aid of the Auckland Crippled Children's Fund, and held in the Manchester Unity Mall last night, 'l'he objects of the club, which was formed 18 months ago, are to promote good feeling and comradeship among its members, to retain the identity of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and to keop alive the old associations. The ballroom was attractively decorated in the club colours of blue and gold, intermingled with tall stands of vivid gladioli. The guests were received by the president, .Mr. J. 11. Schofiold, and Mrs. Scholield, who wore a frock ol black lace and georgette. Among those present were: —Mrs. W. R. Mitchell, who wore nigger brown satin; Mrs. J. A. Boyd, in leaf green crepe suede; Mrs. George Milner, pastel pink floral georgette; Mrs. G. I'ry, ciel blue crepe; Mrs. E. Sutton, electric blue marocain; Mrs. A. Butler, leaf green mctalasse; Mrs. .A. E. Brownlio, cameo pink crepe; Mrs. R. Allen, ivory satin; Mrs. G. Puha, black satin; Mrs. C. T. Agassi/,, black satin relieved with pink; Mrs. B. Gough, black georgette; Mrs. A. Monks, blue patterned crepe; Mrs. G. Moir, black georgette and lace; Mrs. G. L. Johnson, pi 11k satin and lace; Mrs. S. Murphy, willow green marocain; Mrs. T. Teirney, black cire satin; Mrs. J. Samson, black georgette and lace; Mrs. W. Harrison, black sou pie satin; Mrs. F. Crane, pale green embroidered muslin; Mrs. G. M. McNair, navy blue and white marocain; Miss P. Andrews, ivory ottoman silk; Miss Joan Best, pink coin-spotted net; Miss W. Buse, black georgette; Miss I. Shields, lacquer red crepe; Miss F. Ryan, cherry marocain; Miss E. McKcnzic, black taifetas threaded with gold; Miss .Tune Smith, cinnamon brown satin; Miss Mavis Evans, turquoise blue taffetas; Miss A. Walsh, black mctalasse; Miss A. Ellis, black marocain. The committee responsible for the success of the evening comprised:- — Messrs. J. H. Schofield, W. R. Mitchell, J. A. Boyd, J. Kane, N. J. Armstrong, G. Milner. J. Samson, G.
