LOAN OF £6OOO SOUGHT
HAMILTON TRAFFIC BRIDGE [from OUR OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Financial arrangements to meet the coat of effecting repairs to the Hamilton traffic bridge were agreed to at a mooting of the Hamilton 'Borough Council this evening. It was decided to make application to tho Local Government Loans Board for authority to borrow £6OOO, less any subsidy, repayment to be made in instalment# over a period of six years. Advice is being sent to tho Waipa and Waikato County Councils, the contributing local authorities, asking them to meut their share of the cost of tho work.
