RACE TICKET ALTERED
OFFENCE BY WOMAN DIVIDEND OBTAINED BY FRAUD [nV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHKISTCHURCH, Tuesday In an endeavour to make up for her losses at the races Charlotte Wilmot Kemp, aged 50, altered a "win" ticket to a "place" ticket at Riccarton last week, and so collected a dividend of £8 6s, whereas tho "win" ticket was valueless. These facts wore related in tho Police Court to-day, when Kemp was admitted to probation for 12 months by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M. An application for suppression of her name was refused.
