EARL AND ACTRESS
VISITORS TO HOLLYWOOD GOSSIP IN FILM COLONY LONDON, Nov. 10 "Just because the Earl of Jersey arrived in Hollywood incognito, the film colony is asking if ho is going to marry his constant companion, Virginia Cherrill," said the Daily Sketch. The Earl accompanied Miss Cherrill, who recently was leading lady in a Chaplin picture, from London to California, and nobody in Hollywood guessed his identity until David Carlylo gavo a dinner party in honour of the couple. Piquancy is added to the report by tho fact that tho Yorkshire Observer publishes a photograph of Miss Margaret V.vncr, of Sydney, with the caption, "Tho beautiful blonde Australian who, it is reported, will marry tho Earl of Jersey after his divorce." The petition of the Countess of Jersey, formerly Miss Patricia Richards, of New South Wales, for a divorce from tho Earl has been set down for hearing during the present law term in London.
