MOTHERS' UNION
Members of tho St. Columba branch of the Mothers' Union met recently to farewell their president,, who will shortly leave with her husband, the Rev. Martin Sullivan, for Te Awamutu, where Mr. Sullivan is taking over tho duties of the parish. Over 60 members and friends were present. Mrs. Harper made a presentation on behalf of members to Mrs. Sullivan, and Miss Ann Hueklev presented a bouquet to her. Miss Rosemary Moore also handed to Mrs. Sullivan a posy of roses. Knjovable items were rendered by Mesdames Henderson, Moses and Coldi eott. Opportunity was taken by the members of the ladies' guild (o present Mr. Sullivan with a copy of 11. V. Morton's "In the Steps of the Master." Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Watson and Gavin, who were tho hostesses for tho afternoon.
