NATIVE SCHOOL SITE
SELECTION DIFFICULTIES [by TET.EGRAT'H —own* correspondent] ROTORUA, Wednesday The choice of a site for the proposed new native school at Whakarewarewa has provoked considerable discussion recently, a section of the parents and the committee! objecting to the suggestion for the erection of the school near the thermal reserve, on the score that the area is frequently clouded by mist and steam. Other factions object to the retention of the present site adjoining the golf links. It is anticipated that the matter will be dealt with by the Prime .Minister, the Rt. Hon. .M. .J. Savage, when I'® visits the district next month in J l "' capacity as .Minister of .Native Affairs. .Meanwhile, it is understood that a |)Ctition objecting to the new site has been forwarded to the Minister by parents-
