McCREADY AND DON GEORGE CONTEST AT CARLAW PARK r Great interest is being created in the professional wrestling contest between Earl McCready and Don George to be staged on Saturday night at Carlaw Park. Indications are that the greatest crowd evtr to attend a wrestling contest in the Dominion will be present, and. in view of this probability, the Auckland Wrestling Association is making every effort to provide patrons with an excellent view of the contest. Both the contestants are reported to be in excellent condition for their match, which should prove a hard fought battle between two of the best matinen yet seen in New Zealand. McCready admitted a few days ago to a southern news paper that much would depend on the result of his contest with Don George regarding his chances of an early match for the world title. McCready is meeting an immediate exworld's champion and one ranked among the best three wrestlers in the world to-day. The programme will commence at 8 p.m., when specially-selected amateur matches will be staged prior to the big attraction.
