PROFIT OF £IOO SHOWN [IKOM OUH OWN CORRESPONDENT] WHANGARIiI, Wednesday At last evening's meeting of the executive ol' tlio Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society, tho secretary, Mr. C. P. Jiutler, reported that tho Labour week-end gymkhana realised a profit of approximately £IOO, as compared with £9O last year. Tho president, Mr. H. \V. James, expressed gratification at tho result, especially in view of tho heavy expenditure incurred in staging the Auckland Provincial brass baud contest, which was held in conjunction with tho gymkhana.
