POSITIONS OF THE TEAMS The defeat of the Titirangi Club by Akarana during the week-end leaves the A grade pennant competition in an interesting position, as both these clubs have now four wins to their credit, while Maungakiekie has three wins and has yet to play North Shore to complete the round. in the first section of the B grado competition, Pupuke and Titirangi are level with five wins each. As the playoff must bo on a neutral course, it has been decided by tho teams to play the match at the Rotorua links during tho week-end. In the second section Akarana has 3} wins and Maungakiekie 3, and these clubs will also meet in their final match during the week-end. The winners of each section will then play off to decide which club will hold the shield for the year.
