WAIKATO SUMMER SHOW
LARGE ENTRIES EXPECTED [from our own corrkspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday With a comprehensive schedule for all classes of stock, the annual summer show at Claudelands on October 30 and 31 promises to be the most successful in the history of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association. Preparations are well forward and the executive is sparing no effort to ensure that the show will bo equally interesting to both townspeople and the farming community, special attention being paid to the entertainment aspect. A prolific lambing season has been experienced in the Waikato and it is anticipated that fat lamb entries this year will constitute a record. Ihe dairy cattle section also promises to be strongly supported and breeders from all parts of the province will be competing for the many valuable trophies offering. Owing to the increasing importance of the chilled beef trade keen competition is expected in the fat cattle section.
