A children's fancy dress party was held in the Trinity Congregational Hall, Whangarei, when many varied and novel costumes were displayed. The mayoress. Airs. W. Jones, and Airs. G. Wool ley were tho judges, the following being prize-winners:—Pamela Green, Shona Mitchell, Betty laylor, Betty Blanshard, Betty Valintine, Sam Connigan, Alax Thompson, Charlie Rush, John Barry and Hector Rush. lho Mayor, Air.
