AMBULANCE FINANCES
{INCREASED GRANT SOUGHT CONFERENCE AT TAURANGA f■ ■ • [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAUBANGA, Tuesday _ In view of its application for an increased grant coming up again at the Hospital Board's meeting next month, the Bay of Plenty St. John Ambulance Association decided to-day that a conference should be convened between delegates from the various local bodies concerned, the Hospital Board and the association. The proposal is to lay before the delegates the position of the association's finances and to endeavour to ascertain the feeling of the local bodies concerned. It is considered that their sympathy would strengthen the case ■when it again goes before the Hospital Board.
