RAILWAY DEVIATION
WORK ON TARANAKI LINE J \ SKELETON STAFF ASSEMBLED [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] WANGANUI, Monday •Preliminary arrangements for commencing the Turakina-Okoia railway deviatioin: are under way, and a skeleton staff has been established at Fordell. The number will be supplemented by the arrival* of carpenters at an early date. Buildings will _be erected, including -a store for material and accommodation for the officials who will be in charge of the wonk. A tunnel about a mile long near Fordell. will be a major part of the undertaking.
